Shorts for part two of our journey together, may they be as funny, or even funnier than part one.
Let’s have another laugh together.
A fucky tune
Have a few different avenues to learning Spanish, the usual stuff, plus taking photos of random signs, interpreting menus, translating books and lyrics among other things.
The lyrics are the best, chuck a random Spanish playlist on and when I hear a funky enough tune write them down, go to a cafe, order coffee and Spanish study away.
Today, laughed out loud, the line, Ello no esta buscando novio. Quiere salir a joder.
First line knew, She is not looking for a boyfriend. Second line got me, she just wants to go out and fuck.
Didn’t know how to say fuck in Spanish, now I do. Uh oh.
Next line, el cabron, the bastard. Hijuepu, son of a bitch. Yeah, now we are speaking my language Spaniards!
Children and dogs
Dogs and young children, there is very little difference between the way they interact with the world. Watch them and it is obvious.
Am not calling your kid a dog, is not you yet. You, definitely are a dog, made it clear through the site, but not your children. Again, not yet anyway.
A park close by is full of pigeons, hundreds of them. Both dogs and young children chase them exactly the same; same smiles, happiness, curiosity. Bloody funny to watch.
Sometimes, there are other random animals around such as the two budgies a couple had with them. Extremely friendly, either pets or rescue birds, rescue birds that have become pets more likely. No chance releasing these two things.
The two budgies were sitting on the side of a water feature eating some fruit. About 10 spouts shooting water into the air surrounded by a moat just big enough to stop people getting too close to the main event.
Parents of a young child ask if their three-year-old can pet them. Yes, of course, the reply. Young fella didn’t understand petting, instead was more interested in pushing. Budgie one, splash, took a nice dive into the water, quickly recovered by its carers.
Young boy was not given the opportunity to interact with number two.
No budgies were harmed in the making of this story, one just got drenched from head to toe, it’ll survive.
