Doing a Buck
Brian ‘Buck’ Wilson, same year in High School. Buck would come in and out of Fred’s primary mate group, especially enjoyed playing basketball. Came with the words I’ve been known to hit a long shot, left with them all knowing he could indeed hit a long shot. Just a beautiful young man.
Buck’s family was the poorest in the year, a brother and no mother. His father generally unwell raising two boys (?) on his own.
The other day Freddy’s pulling in the washing, could not be fucked, got to the last five items and really could not be fucked. Almost left it. Right now, vacuuming, cannot be fucked, half the job done, half to go, it’ll get done. He laughs both times, fuckin’ hell Fred, way to do a Buck Wilson mate.
Buck showed up to school one day with half a haircut, two-thirds maybe. 66% neat, 34% shaggy as fuck, what happened to your hair Buck?
‘Well, my Dad was cutting it last night and then got really tired and couldn’t continue. He his hoping to have the energy to finish it tonight.’
Hence, doing a Buck Wilson.

Peaceful trip
Fred gets on bus 59 to the dream course. Not the normal bus, the big bus, double length with the curtain in the middle.
Do I need a seat number? Laughs his head off, the bus driver’s face completely deadpan, not even the hint of a glint in the eye, let alone a smile.
Yeah, the bus was completely empty.
Peaceful trip though.

Ever seen Die Hard? The one where he follows an ambulance to get to the subway in the nick of time?
Yesterday, walking through Westfield, stupid busy. Busiest it has been during Fred’s Canberra time. He is trying to get to the gym, about 100 metres to go and it is slow slow slow SLOW.
There is a train, clown-shaped or something, kids having rides around the shopping centre, it is coming. The crowd dispurses, Fred gets right up its arse and follows it all the way to the gym.

Just figured that kumara is toxic to chickens and ducks like the everyday raw white potato. Decided to check.
Interestingly, it is perfectly safe for them to eat. The white potato is a member of the solanine containing Nightshade family, solanine is very bad for ducks and chickens.
Camote is perfectly safe. Instead, it is a member of the Morning Glory family.
